IT specialists at GlobalLogic's Ukrainian office do half of the work on the creation of the world's most advanced recording software, Pro Tools, by the American company Avid.

The media industry has become one of the largest consumers of IT products: in 2017, $60 billion was spent on media innovations.

The state of the industry is determined by technology giants, primarily the American public company Avid Technology. Its shares are traded on the NASDAQ stock exchange, and its revenue in 2017 amounted to USD 419 million.

Avid technologies, created with the participation of Ukrainian engineers, were used to record and arrange music in The Hobbit, Jurassic World, Deadpool 2, Ant-Man and the Wasp, and the Game of Thrones series.

Currently, 200 Ukrainians perform 50% of all Avid engineering.
