Major social networks have long since switched their users to smart feeds.
If anyone remembers, posts used to be displayed in chronological order. Now, the date of publication matters, but if the social network doesn't like the post, they will push it as far away from your followers as possible.
There's a general rule of thumb: the more often users interact with your content, the more often they will see it. It is beneficial for you to be seen, liked, commented on, and shared.
So, what can you do today to get more reach?
Ask for a vote in the commentsAnswer the question. Just don't ask for the sake of asking a question like "put on fire if the topic is hot". Involve the audience in the discussion.
Please like this works, such posts get more likes. But use it situationally (for really important posts), otherwise the effect will be lost.
Buy likes and organize like times. Many people buy likes after the publication is released. I'm not a fan of this approach anymore, as algorithms are getting smarter, so the feed is formed differently for each user. But in general, it helps today. I also advise you to look at more social media-friendly ways. The most obvious - is a paid promotion of posts.
Hashtags - if you use not broad hashtags (like "food"), but relevant to your post, the reach will increase through new users. It works less and less, but it works.
The only good way - is to write good content. The variety of this content (formats and topics) will help to retain an audience with different preferences and consumption patterns.
In general, these are the five main ways to get into your subscribers' smart feed. I wish you all a good reach!
