Facebook has updated its video ranking algorithm

Three aspects are taken into account:

  1. Loyalty and intent. Videos that are repeatedly viewed by the same users will be displayed above.
  2. Video length and viewing duration. Facebook will start giving preference to videos that are longer than three minutes.
  3. Originality. The social network will strengthen measures to combat stolen content.

The company believes that the changes will be useful for pages that create original videos.
