Google collects information about your purchases. And it's not so easy to delete it

It turns out that Google collects information about your purchases, both online and in brick-and-mortar stores. And to remove this statistics from your account, you need to try very hard.

Information about purchases - not all, but most - is displayed on special page. Google collects it from the receipts that are sent to your Gmail inbox.

The company claims that it does not use this information to show users personalized ads. Moreover, according to Google, this data can be deleted at any time.

When you click the "Remove purchase from the list" button, the service asks you to delete the corresponding email completely. But you may need it for warranty cases.

Google says that only you can view information about purchases. It also adds that order information can be stored in the history of your activity on Google services. To check whether this data has been deleted, the company suggests going to the "My Actions" page. But the problem is that there is no way to manage the data from the "Purchases" section.
