The state of the industry is determined by technological giants, primarily the American public company Avid Technology. Its shares are traded on the NASDAQ exchange, and revenue in 2017 amounted to $419 million.
Avid technologies, created with the participation of Ukrainian engineers, were used to record and arrange music in the films “The Hobbit”, “Jurassic World”, “Deadpool-2”, “Ant-Man and the Wasp”, in the series “Game of Thrones”.
Now 200 Ukrainians carry out 50% of all Avid engineering.
